Doing my best to make some extra money

Things are a bit tight financially right now, so I am trying to come up with some ways to make a little bit of extra money doing things that I enjoy. I have found a few websites that hold art contests and give prizes to the winners, and I am thinking about entering these to see if I can win some money. I love to draw. The only thing is that I don’t know whether or not my artwork will appeal to the other artists who will be voting on the artwork to determine the winner. What kind of subject matter is most popular now?
