While at one time tattoos were more popular with men, in recent years tattoos have becoming increasingly popular with women as well. Stereotypes and the stigma associated with tattoos for women prevented them from feeling confident with a tattoo up until even a decade ago. They don’t want to be told what they can and cannot do. A large majority of online places are filled with designs that are well over five years old and they are plastered all over the internet already. It used to be that women would get an occasional rose or name tattoos on their breast or some well hidden spot.
