Making Money From Guitars Without Playing

By admin | June 10, 2008

If you have any experience with buying used guitars, either locally or online, you can make that experience pay off for you. Consider buying and reconditioning old acoustic guitars for resale.  You may have to learn some DIY skills, but these can be easily picked up by taking courses in your local area, doing online research, or even watching shows on TV.

You can use guitar reconditioning as a hobby to provide some cash so you can buy additional guitars for yourself, or you can turn it into a good part-time, or even perhaps full-time, income. Before you get heavily into it, though, make sure you’ve done your homework. You want to know that the instruments you’re buying are high quality acoustic guitars that stand the test of time for durability and are in demand by other guitarists. This may require a little bit of research on your part, depending on how much experience you already have with buying and selling these guitars, but if you love guitars, this is one great way to make your passion pay off.
