Many people wonder whether new car extended warranties are really necessary. What I like to tell folks is this: the less ability you have to handle unexpected car repairs, the more you need an extended warranty. For example, senior citizens who live on a limited, fixed income, should take out this type of auto coverage — it will protect them from Sutton, large and unexpected repair bills. Of course, such a warranty may raise the amount of your monthly payment, but at least you will know ahead of time what that payment will be and can adjust your household budget accordingly to accommodate the paymen.
