Are 6K Jobs Worth the Time?

Everyone would love to work in 6K jobs. I don’t know of anyone who would say to their boss, “Nah…I don’t think I would like that raise this year. Please, keep your money.” Instead, most employees feel they are underpaid and do not get raises that accurately reflect their effort. Often a company will give an employee a false raise by saying that the employee has earned the right to be salaried. However, if you do a little math, you would quickly discover that you are now asked to work the same number of hours for less money. This is because salaried employees don’t get paid overtime.
