Got the job now I need the certification

I just joined the Project Management team and now I think I need the project management certification. I know where I can take a class and get tested. My boss even says the company will reimburse me when I pass. This may be my way to fast track my career. There is a lot more to project management than I first thought. In the planning stage you got to think about how every department will be affected, establish a budget, figure out who will be in charge of all the various parts of the project. I am sure there is lots more and that is why I need the extra training.
