Is Investing in the Stock Market the Best Way to Invest Money?

Usually if you want high returns, the stock market is the Best way to invest money. But right now, this economy is scaring people away from investing in stocks.
Yesterday, for example, the Dow plunged 800 points during the day as investors wanted out of the market… So much is going on in the market and investors are just not prepared to risk their money in stocks. However, the Dow did come back up as people are taking the opportunity to buy low.
So, for some people, the stock market is still the best way to invest money whereas for others, it is the sure place to lose money fast.
