My teens now know the value of money

By admin | July 1, 2008

My kids turned into typical teens. They didn’t respect money or how hard their father and I worked to earn what they spent. We felt like they saw us as an unlimited ATM machine. They were constantly asking us to dispense money and not paying attention to how they spent it. We came across the Enlightened Wealth Institute, which has a goal of making kids, teens and adults enlightened and wealthy. They have great resources that we used to help our teens to not only make and spend money wisely, but opened the world of saving, investing and donating some money to charity. They really got into it and we are proud to see how they are allocating their allowances for their future and to help others.
