No Paperwork

In my previous experience with getting a home loan, I have had to do a lot of paperwork. Not only did I not know what most of the paperwork was for but then I had no idea where to store it after the transaction was complete. If I go ahead and hire mortgage originators can I get out of the paperwork hassle? Can they take over the paper trail and then store it for me in case I should ever need it again? I would like to submit my information one time and then they contact me when the deal is closed.
