Online Stock Market Investing Is Not Necessarily Safer
By admin | December 29, 2008
Just because online stock market investing makes investing easier than it was in the recent past, it does not necessarily follow that your investing process will have less risk as well. In fact, some would argue that using an online broker would, in fact, raise your risk considerably since you no longer have a guaranteed second set of eyes looking at your orders.
But the one thing that online brokers do help you avoid is the ‘pump and dump’ scams run by sham investment firms that call up their clients and get them to buy into a company just to pump up the price so that other private investors can sell at the height.
