A Strange Family Request

A couple of weeks ago, I got a phone call from my aunt and uncle, and they told me that they were going to be driving through town, and they wanted to stop in to see my wife and I. I told them that we would be delighted to have them in, and I was sure that my wife would want to make dinner. When I mentioned this, they told me that they were no longer eating traditional foods, so they would prefer that we not plan any sort of meal around their visit. I was a little confused, but I agreed to it.
