Coping With Shyness

This may seem contrary, but, talking about your shyness will help you get over it. The person you talk to about your shyness could be a teacher, parent, counselor or doctor. You may learn that everyone feels shy occasionally and you’re not alone. When a friend or loved one is Coping With Shyness start by making them feel less nervous. Tell them about the time you felt shy. The more time you spend with them the more comfortable they will become. Shyness among teens and preteens is normal and natural. As you gain more experience in social situations your shyness will go away. As you get older, social situations become easier and easier to handle.
