Drinking water filters come in a variety of types

After having our tap water tested we knew we need to filter our water for drinking and cooking. We could not afford a full system so we went on line to find drinking water filters to comply with our budget. What we found were individual drinking glass filter systems and even a 1 gallon filtered pitcher. When they arrived we took samples of water from our tap, the glass filtered, and the pitcher filtered water and got a free EPA (environmental protection agency) office locally. The tap water barely passed the ok for human consumption test where as the other samples passed with flying colors.
