The Cost Of Individual Health Insurance Continues To Climb
By admin | May 27, 2008
There are currently some 47 million Americans with no health insurance cover at all and if the cost of individual health insurance continues to climb as it has in recent years then this situation is only going to get worse. We are already paying more than almost all other industrialized nations for healthcare and at over $2 trillion dollars a year that represents more than $7,500 per person. More importantly perhaps, this also represents more than four times our expenditure on defense and yet we do not seem to have anything like the trouble getting government funding for health care as we do for supporting our brave troops overseas. Enough is enough and it is high time Congress stopped talking and started taken action to solve this monumental problem.
