Differences in Google Search Results

As an SEO specialist I spend a lot of my time trying to help websites and businesses achieve good Google positioning for their selected keywords. I have always used keyword position monitoring software and in the past it has provided relatively accurate results. However, I recently noticed quite big differences in keyword positioning depending on if you searched with Google.com or Google.co.uk. For example, I searched for the keyword “furniture packs spain” into Google.com and the website in question has a position of number 4, however when typing in the same keyword into Google.co.uk the websites position was not even on the first page and was located on the second page at number 16. I knew that results varied but not by this much.
