Do You Understand Cotbeds Terminology

Do you know the difference between drop-sides, fixed sides and split ends? With drop-side cotbeds there will be a catch on one side of the cot, usually operated by one hand, that will allow you to slide down that one side of the cot. They are not essential but they do provide easier access and they are particularly useful for petite people or those with bad backs. Fixed sides simply mean that the sides of the cot stay in place until it comes time to remove them to transform the cot into a bed. Split ends on cotbeds will relate to the bed mode once the sides have been removed. It means that you will be able to separate into two the ends of the cot to make a more aesthetically pleasing junior bed.
