Reasons To Consider Getting An American Mastiff

If you’re looking for a dog that is calm, loyal, and a loving member of the family, you might want to consider an American Mastiff. While a dog’s personality really depends on how the dog has been treated in life, American Mastiffs are generally quiet, non aggressive, and good with children. They are large dogs, capable of weighing over 200 pounds, so they may not be for everyone. However, unlike some large breeds, they don’t require large amounts of exercise and tend to be a bit on the lazy side. Being short-haired, they are easy to groom and with their calm temperament probably won’t mind it much.
