Knowing Commercial Door Closer

I work as supervisor in a real estate firm. Every day is almost all work and no play, except of course on occasional nights when I go home early and the hubby is in. So see, I don’t get to watch TV or read newspaper. Going to malls for grocery or watching movie in theaters with my family is a luxury. Just imagine what I know about household stuff. Almost zero. And so it happened that a commercial door closer got broke in the office. I had no idea what to do about it, but I had to take charge still being the supervisor. It was like a nightmare as even the utility didn’t know what to do. The door closers were already installed in the office when we got here. It was finally taken cared of courtesy of Sally, my friend who graduated architectural design in NYU.Always curious that I am, I googled on the definition of door closer. And here’s what I got… A door closer is typically defined as a mechanical device that closes a door, in general after someone opens it, or after it was automatically opened. Manual and automatic are two general styles of door closers.
