Remember that when you send out a resume for a specific job that there may be hundreds of people like yourself applying for job. Competition is brutal. A company or recruiter has to sort through many, many, resumes to get the pile down to two or three. You see, they need to narrow down the stack to something workable. That means they intitially take two or three minutes on each one and look for ways to eliminate resumes. Any error, spelling mistake, date missing, and lack of the right skills and qualifications, can get you eliminated.
