Going Back With Our Roots With A Chinese Teacher

I want my child to learn chinese because I was not able to learn to speak chinese. We have a chinese lineage along the way. If you check my mother’s maiden name, it is chinese. So in order for her to remember where she came from, I am thinking of employing a Chinese Teacher so she would learn how to speak, read and write Chinese. I guess she will also learn how history and Chinese culture. Since she is studying it, I guess it will also give me chance to get some background information on it too.
