What is telephone reverse lookup?

Unlike a regular telephone directory, where you look up a person’s last name in order to find the person’s phone number, a telephone reverse lookup directory lets you look up a telephone number in order to find out the person’s name and address. You can look up the person by the phone service and the ten digit phone number, and the person’s information will be retrieved from the service. You may even run into programs that allow you to search by the phone’s features and service details. There are private telephone reverse directories, but you can find them publicly, as well. There are different websites that offer a standard service.
