Commercial pool tables can often be purchased at below market value simply by spotting them for sale after use. Many bars or pool halls will go out of business and this will create a prime opportunity to purchase a used but in excellent condition pool table.
Never forget that some of the best deals on any merchandise are to be had on the after market or secondary market. Pool tables are no different. If you ever spot a bar that is going out of business, you would be doing yourself a great amount of disservice not to investigate if they will be selling their stock of pool tables.
