The Secret Fighting Group

By admin | June 20, 2009

The Secret Fighting Group, known to four Honeyville Middle School students as the SFG, was a group for select few boys who made a hobby of sparing with one another with boxing gloves.  They did this three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in their friend Ryan’s backyard.  Ryan’s parents arrived home the latest of the other boys’ parents, and as far as the parents knew, they were simply a study group.  Cameron would bring his gloves and an extra set for Ryan, and Chase would bring his gloves and their journal.  They kept a log of rules, wins, and losses in their journal.  The times the boys’ spent with the SFG, were fun and memorable.  They always stayed in touch as they grew older, and shared stories of the SFG for years to come with their new wives and children.
