Why is vertical jump important?

If your serious about certain sports you will want to know where your strengths and weaknesses lie in your vertical jump ratio. To properly do some exercises efficiently you can use tests like the vertical jump test to measure several things about your muscles and physical limitations. You can do a jump test one week then do some exercises then do a retest of your vertical jump rate and see if you’ve raised your score or if the exercise is lowering your jump height. Sometimes the muscles can get in the way of your jump so its better to just tone not gain muscle mass.
