Dish Network vs Direct TV – How do they Treat You?

Has anyone ever had to call a satellite TV company because something broke? What about when the service wasn’t working as it was supposed to? I’m looking at a choice between Dish Network vs Direct TV and I want to know which company treats their customers the best. I don’t mind paying a little bit more money if the service is great. I really put a lot on the quality of service representatives that they employ. I do not want to feel like an idiot. Does anyone have any input related to customer service in these two satellite TV companies?
